+ 40% extended lifespan and -40% maintenance for the new Idrobase Industrial pump

The new Idrobase 200-15 Industrial pump has been designed to be used in many applications in an industrial context, both in the misting and cleaning sectors. Compared to the Professional FS2 200-15 pump, already in the catalogue, the new pump has some different characteristics such as + 40% extended lifespan and a -40% of maintenance costs. Let's find out in detail the reasons for these performance improvements.

First of all the weight. With 11,5kg, the new pump weighs +15% compared to the Professional pump, to allow greater resistance with continuous use. The higher oil capacity – 0,7Kg - represents a +40% capacity compared to the professional pump, allowing the Industrial pump to be better lubricated and cooled.

The W1/W2 Parker water seals, with self-lubricating U profile, compared to the V-profile sealing rings of the previous pump, allow a more dynamic sealing that does not require settling, avoiding possible water drops losses that may occur after a long period of inactivity. The detail of U-shaped seal profile increases the duration by +40%, with replacement scheduled after 1.000 hours of work.

The plunger oil seals, unlike the previous model, are equipped with a dust cover to protect from atmospheric agents and dust, thus avoiding the accumulation of impurities on the pistons resulting in + 30% of the life of the oil seal.

The connecting rods of the new professional pump are made of bronze instead of aluminium. The bronze construction, a self-lubricating and robust material compared to the Professional pump, allows the new pump to withstand high loads in case of continuous use of the pump.

Moreover, the oversized guide pistons discharge better the thrusts, maintaining a perfect and lasting alignment with the seals, while the wide support surface of the seal rings serves to distribute the thrust of the rings on the casing on a more extended surface, thus avoiding the breaking of the crankcase with consequent displacement of the rings and losses from the piston seals.
