Idrobase Group's technology at the service of the Korean Coast Guard
THE TECHNOLOGY OF IDROBASE GROUP IS USED BY THE KOREAN COAST GUARD IN A SURPRISING WAY.
It could be defined as, application serendipity“, but what happens in Korea has for sure left the parent company itself amazed, namely the Paduan Idrobase Group.
The merit is of the Special Rescue Unit of the State Police of the far eastern country, established for the rescue of ships in failure and of people at sea. To train the staff to perform interventions in prohibitive weather conditions, a structure with 3 indoor pools was realised in Busan (main port of the peninsula), where it is possible to recreate extreme atmospheric situations: thick fog and violent thunderstorm with pouring rain, together with very strong gusts of wind. To allow this simulation is an atypical use of the machineries, produced by Idrobase Group which, generally destined for micro dust suppression (PM2.5 e PM10) and sanitization of environments, use micro-drop technologies in high pressure: these are 2 models of “Fog Maker Elefantino” and 6 of “Fog Maker Elefante” which, located above and on the sides of the pools, reproduce heavy rains lashed by violent winds. The installation, performed by the Korean distributor Everdepot, is completed by a machinery for the formation of waves and a nacelle of helicopter, from which the components of the special rescue unit are lowered into the water.
The co-president of Idrobase Group himself, Bruno Ferrarese, was amazed by what he saw, when accompanied to visit the installation by the supervisor of the building, Guy Tae Hwang, during the first post-pandemic commercial mission in the distant Asian State, which has favored the acceleration of commercial relations with the Italian company, whose solutions are considered strategic for the improvement of public health.
