Why did
Idrobase Group choose India for establishing a joint venture?
The Indian market is enormous and growing rapidly. In
particular, a great deal of attention is being given to the cleaning market, which is good news
for us. For example, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the celebrations
for the 145th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, launched an
initiative called 'Clean India', personally sweeping the streets of Delhi and
setting up a five-year plan for cleaning up the country’s squares and
monuments.
What
activity will the new company pursue?
Over
the next few months, Idrobase Systems Pvt Ltd. will have a strictly commercial function, promoting Idrobase professional high pressure washers and components for them, with particular reference to Club dei Riparatori’s spare parts for Dolly pumps. In addition, we want to market our idea of the no touch car wash in India with the solutions in the Auto Bella line. Our
objective is to start producing a number of components for high pressure
washers at the Bangalore site by 2016. It’s a decision that will be linked to
the commercial results we achieve in India over the next several months.
What kind
of results does Idrobase Group expect from the Indian market in the upcoming
years?
The objective we want to reach
within the next 4 years is to be present in all
the federated Indian states (there are 28) with at
least one distributor, doing our full part in a country that is
demonstrating, also politically, renewed attention to the cleaning market and
environmental issues, which are in the DNA of Idrobase Group.
