For Idrobase Group, three was not enough: the Italian “pocket-sized multinational” has now received its fourth MCE Excellence Award for innovation. Since 2018 (with 2020 skipped due to the Covid pandemic), the company has continuously received the prestigious award for innovation at MCE – Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, held at Fiera Milano. This year, the award was presented to the Fog70 VAR3 Touch, a system featuring technology capable of modulating misting across up to 16 independent zones according to environmental parameters. The system can be equipped with humidity and temperature sensors, operated remotely, and achieve energy savings of up to 80% thanks to an inverter that adjusts the pump’s flow rate.
“The idea originated from the experience gained with the Botanical Garden of Padua, but it can easily be applied to any enclosed environment, particularly livestock facilities, greenhouse cultivation, cement plants, controlled landfills and composting sites,” explains Bruno Gazzignato, Co-owner of the group, whose headquarters are located in Borgoricco (Padua, near Venice).
In previous years, the Veneto-based company, an international leader in pressure water technologies, was recognised for solutions in natural evaporative cooling and PM2.5 fine dust reduction (Fog App, an app-controlled misting module for domestic use, in 2018), for the elimination of pathogens and VOCs (BKM 3.0, an air purifier featuring patented and certified technology, in 2022) and for high-efficiency intelligent misting (Fog Adiabatico, a high-pressure system for dry coolers, in 2024).
“These achievements are the result of a vision developed over the past 40 years: ours is a true Passion for Water,” says Bruno Ferrarese, the company’s other Co-owner. “We believe in water as a natural resource capable of helping our world breathe cleaner air, and we are convinced that actions must always follow words. This is not just innovation; it is industrial consistency, respect for the environment and responsibility towards future generations. When passion becomes technology, water becomes the future.”
The latest MCE Excellence Award comes just weeks after Idrobase Group entered the international high-pressure pump market with its “Dolly Pump” range, for which the company has developed a production model unique within the pressure washer and misting systems industry.
The company’s global roadshow now moves to China, with its participation in the CCE trade fair in Shanghai from 31 March to 3 April.
